Professional Experience: 

Ms. Casey is admitted to practice in the state of Texas and before the Southern and Northern Districts of Texas and the Fifth Circuit.  Ms. Casey is also admitted as a solicitor in the Senior Courts of England and Wales.

Ms. Casey is a trial attorney with more than twenty-five years experience in international and domestic disputes.  Client industries include energy, manufacturing, real estate, intellectual property, banking, consumer products, computers, construction, finance, securities, insurance and financial planning. Ms. Casey’s recent work includes:

• Complex litigation of multi-million dollar theft of trade secrets claim

Ms. Casey also has managed numerous trial teams of lawyers, consultants and database experts relating to discovery in numerous regulatory and litigation related matters, as well as assisted clients in the development of document retention plans.  Ms. Casey’s work includes supervision, organization, compilation and review of large volumes of documents for national and international companies, for relevance, responsiveness and privilege in numerous governmental investigations and litigation matters, including coordination of teams of in-house counsel and numerous outside law firms.  Responsibilities included:

• Lead attorney for privilege review of 17,000,000 pages of documents for international Fortune 100 company, including design and compilation of privilege log to comply with US and foreign governmental standards. 
• Lead attorney for privilege review of domestic company with nationwide locations, involving gathering, review and production of documents in three months to comply with governmental deadline.
• Lead attorney in defense of national company in multimillion dollar litigation arising from the client’s systems, protocols and maintenance of database of millions of consumer records nationwide.
• Coordinated team for gathering and reviewing historic documents for Fortune 100 company to respond to inherited environmental litigation following acquisition of another company.
• Led document gathering and review in coordination with team of outside law firms and accountants for Fortune 500 company to interview witnesses and gather documents for internal investigation with six week deadline, resulting in no government inquiry.
• Lead attorney for local team of lawyers to review electronic documents gathered produced in federal class action litigation.
• Lead attorney for local team of lawyers to review electronic documents for production to government.

In addition, Ms. Casey is a speaker on international arbitration, ethics, and attorney client privilege.
